Basketball Recap: Broadalbin-Perth Gets the Win

Broadalbin-Perth hadn't done well against Queensbury recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Patriots came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 47-34. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-36 back in December of 2025.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Sassaman, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Wilson, who scored ten points and five boards.

Broadalbin-Perth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Queensbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Broadalbin-Perth will take on rival Gloversville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Queensbury is set to square off against their familiar foe South Glens Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
