Basketball Recap: Alexander Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Alexander's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Trenton Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-42 two weeks ago.

Alexander has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Trenton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alexander will venture away from home to square off against Parshall/North Shore at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trenton, they will square off against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
