Softball Recap: Red Oak Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Red Oak faced off against Creston on Thursday. The Tigers lost 21-2 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 on Thursday.

Red Oak has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Creston, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Oak will face off against Stanton at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Creston, they will take on Shenandoah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
