Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas A. Edison). They blew past Masterman 72-37 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Thomas A. Edison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinzel Merritt out in front who went 8 for 10 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Nehemiah Rosado, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.

The win was the fourth in a row for Thomas A. Edison, bringing their record for this year to 12-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Masterman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Thomas A. Edison will square off against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Masterman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
