Meanwhile, Second Baptist came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Pioneers 60-43.

Fort Bend Christian Academy better keep an eye on Eloise Tackett. She was instrumental in Second Baptist's win, going 10 of 17 en route to 25 points along with five assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave Tackett a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Wehring, who posted ten points and eight steals.

Second Baptist was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lutheran South Academy only posted eight assists.

Second Baptist pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.

Things could have been worse for Fort Bend Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-33 loss to Second Baptist when the teams last played on January 14th.
