Basketball Recap: Brandon/Evansville Skates Past Battle Lake with Ease

Brandon/Evansville hadn't done well against Battle Lake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Brandon/Evansville Chargers blew past the Battle Lake Battlers, posting a 75-40 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Chargers have posted since December 10, 2024.

The victory (which was Brandon/Evansville's third in a row) raised their record to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.0 points over those games. As for Battle Lake, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandon/Evansville will host Rothsay at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Battle Lake, they will welcome Underwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
