Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield duked it out with Roselle Catholic on Monday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Plainfield was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-5.

Plainfield's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Roselle Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Plainfield will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Summit at 4:00 p.m. Roselle Catholic will be paying especially close attention to the Cardinals' matchup: after the Cardinals faces off against Union, they'll take on Roselle Catholic again at 4:00 p.m. on May 2.
