Baseball Recap: Horizon Honors Beats Parker for Their Third Straight Win

Horizon Honors put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Parker Broncs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

The team relied heavily on Max Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Lucas Holweger was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Horizon Honors' victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Parker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon Honors will take on Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parker, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Mohave Accelerated at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
