Baseball Recap: Rosholt's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Rosholt dropped their record down to 4-2 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 12-2 to the Pacelli Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hornets have suffered since May 18, 2024.

As for Pacelli, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Considering they have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Pacelli's part, Lucas Haemmerle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Haemmerle was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jaden Garski was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Malise Beduhn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosholt will face off against Tigerton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacelli, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Amherst at 12:00 p.m.
