Basketball Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Nazarene Christian Academy lost against Christian Life Preparatory back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 56-51 to the Knights.

Christian Life Preparatory got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hendrix Nickle out in front who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was David Wardlaw, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Nazarene Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Christian Life Preparatory, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Nazarene Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westlake Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Life Preparatory, after both having extra time off, they and Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
