Softball Game Preview: Hanceville Bulldogs vs. Holly Pond Broncos

Hanceville hasn't had much luck against Holly Pond recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hanceville Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Holly Pond Broncos at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, Hanceville wound up with the same score they had in their last game (8-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Hanceville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karrigan Pipkin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Holly Pond came into Monday's contest having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past Pennington 15-14. The Broncos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Holly Pond's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Hanceville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Everything went Hanceville's way against Holly Pond in their previous matchup on Friday, as Hanceville made off with a 16-1 win. Will Hanceville repeat their success, or does Holly Pond have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
