Clay is 8-2 against Findlay since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 5:45 p.m. Clay is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Thursday, Clay made easy work of Bowling Green and carried off a 3-0 win.

Clay was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Findlay came up short against Northview on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Findlay saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anika Helms had 22 assists and one block. Helms is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Findlay's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Everything went Clay's way against Findlay in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, as Clay made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
