Soccer Recap: Sanford Comes Up Short

Sanford lost against Wilmington Friends back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 11-2 to the Quakers. Sanford's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Sanford's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Wilmington Friends, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Sanford will face off against Ursuline Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilmington Friends, they will challenge St. Andrew's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Andrew's will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wilmington Friends surely won't give up without a fight.
