Sevier County faced South-Doyle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Smoky Bears and the Cherokees finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. Sevier County's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

With that draw, Sevier County's record moves to 10-2-2. As for South-Doyle, they moved theirs to 11-1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sevier County will challenge Knoxville Central at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for South-Doyle, they will face off against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gatlinburg-Pittman will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something South-Doyle surely won't give up without a fight.
