Softball Recap: Mahwah Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Mahwah's offense. They came up short against the Indian Hills Braves on Monday, falling 10-0. The Thunderbirds have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mahwah's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Indian Hills, their record now sits at 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mahwah will head out to challenge Pascack Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indian Hills, they will venture away from home to take on Immaculate Heart Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
