            Softball Recap: Carver A&T Wildcats vs. Dundalk Owls        
        
		
        
        
            Carver A&T posted their closest  win since April 1st on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dundalk Owls, sneaking past  10-9. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.

 Lily Anderson was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched six innings while giving up  three earned  (and five unearned) runs off   ten  hits. Anderson was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Allyson Gray was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexis Mihm, who  went 1-for-2 with three  runs.
Carver A&T's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Dundalk, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver A&T will take on Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.54  runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dundalk, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Lansdowne  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.54  runs per game on average), something the Owls will no doubt try to take advantage of.
