David Caris, Shadow Hills's leader in total tackles on the season, led the team again on Friday. Caris wasn't messing around, making 23 total tackles. The matchup was his fifth straight with six or more total tackles.

Caris and Shadow Hills will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho Mirage at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Knights have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
