Football Recap: Scarborough Starts Season with Loss at Home

Scarborough unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Thornton Academy Trojans. The Red Storm haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Coming up, Scarborough will challenge Kennebunk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thornton Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Bangor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
