After a string of six wins, Midland Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the All S Saints. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 49-26.

Midland Christian's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 19-7. As for All S, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Midland Christian and All S should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Midland Christian (ranked 121st) will meet Southwest Christian School (ranked 285th) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Midland Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. Similarly, All S will square off against Fort Worth Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 567 places (200 vs. 767).
