Volleyball Recap: Limon Comes Up Short

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Swink Lions, falling 3-0. Limon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Swink work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 29-27, 25-19.

Gianna Humphrey paced Limon's offense, picking up ten kills. Humphrey got some help from Macie Witt and her 11 assists. Maddy Witt and Kinslee Reystead kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Limon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Swink, their record now sits at 17-4.

Limon has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Byers on the 24th. As for Swink, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Peyton on the 24th.
