Volleyball Recap: Desert Hot Springs' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Desert Hot Springs waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Indio Rajahs by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Golden Eagles: when they faced off against the Rajahs back in March, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Desert Hot Springs walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 20-25, 25-22, 29-27.

Desert Hot Springs' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Indio, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

Coincidentally, Desert Hot Springs and Indio will both be playing Xavier Prep the next time they take the court. The Rajahs will head out to face the Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Eagles will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
