Marblehead had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Masconomet Regional Chieftains.

Marblehead's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Masconomet Regional, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marblehead will face off against rival Everett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Masconomet Regional is set to take on their familiar foe Peabody Veterans Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
