AAA District 15 recap Oct. 3, 2012

Houston extended the longest winning streak in AAA District 15 this week by beating Overton, 38-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Mustangs.

Southwind led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Kirby.

Thanks to the talents of Sam Martin and Justin Roberson Germantown has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Martin leads the league in passing with 75 yards, while Roberson has rushed for 82 yards this season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Jaguars take on the Red Devils. As it stands, Southwind is in first, while Germantown is in fourth.

Charlie White's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,077 from 3,649. The improvement was the result of 35-7 victory over Collierville last week.
