Volleyball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Panguitch Bobcats

The Parowan Rams will challenge the Panguitch Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Parowan: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Panguitch has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.

Parowan managed to slip by South Sevier the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Parowan lost 3-0 to South Sevier on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Parowan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Panguitch beat Carbon 3-1 on Saturday.

Parowan better keep an eye on Brooklyn Harland. She was instrumental in Panguitch's win, getting 21 digs. Harland has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Parowan now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Panguitch, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.
