Football Game Preview: Primero Bulldogs vs. Walsenburg Panthers

The Primero Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Walsenburg Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

In Saturday's Canine Competition, Primero didn't have enough. They and Mountain Valley were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but the Bulldogs suffered a 31-30 loss. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabe Sintas put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 87 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Walsenburg fell victim to Crowley County and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Chargers and fell 62-0. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Primero's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Walsenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
