This is the second loss in a row for Lakeview Centennial and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Wylie East, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Lakeview Centennial was dealt a bruising 62-14 loss at the hands of Wylie East when the teams last played back in October of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lakeview Centennial was down 55-0.
