Volleyball Game Preview: Ridgeline Riverhawks vs. West Field Longhorns

The Ridgeline Riverhawks will head out on the road to square off against the West Field Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Ridgeline is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since March 8th on Tuesday. They came up short against Green Canyon, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Riverhawks couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Ridgeline was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 28-26.

Meanwhile, West Field had just enough and edged out Mountain Crest 3-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Ridgeline took their win against West Field in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Riverhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
