The Midview Middies will face off against the Rocky River Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Lutheran West's batters probably weren't too happy with Ava Mae DeMooy, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (she gave up four walks). DeMooy has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rylie Quaiser was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Leigh Konet, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Rocky River hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lutheran West struck out eight times.

Midview's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Rocky River, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Midview has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Rocky River struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.9 hits.
