Baseball Recap: Halifax Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Halifax had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Trinity Shamrocks on Monday, falling 18-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Halifax saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cohen Bechtel, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Coming up, Halifax will challenge Midd-West at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trinity, they will take on Donegal at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
