Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellspring Prep). They strolled past the Muskegon Heights Tigers with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-18 back in December of 2024.

Wellspring Prep picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Muskegon Heights, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Wellspring Prep has already played their next matchup, a 61-10 loss against Tri-Unity Christian on the 7th. Muskegon Heights will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grand River Prep at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st.
