Basketball Recap: Bigelow Takes a Loss

Bigelow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the White County Central Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 48-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2019.

Bigelow's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for White County Central, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Bigelow will take on Perryville in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for White County Central, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bald Knob at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th.
