Basketball Recap: Mount Judea Takes a Loss

Mount Judea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lead Hill Tigers 54-20. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 48-31 loss back in January.

Lead Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tesli Johnson, who posted 16 points along with eight steals and seven boards. Those eight steals gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hattie Hughes, who put up eight points in addition to nine rebounds and six assists.

Mount Judea's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lead Hill, their record is now 5-26.

As of now, neither Mount Judea nor Lead Hill have any future games scheduled.
