The Vista del Lago Eagles will welcome the Fairfield Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Vista del Lago will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points on Monday, then bounced right back against Bella Vista on Wednesday. The Eagles blew past the Broncos 38-6. With the Eagles ahead 26-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Vista del Lago didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Sophia Navone, Tayler Dray, Taylor Peyrucain, and Catherine Navarre picked up one apiece. Peyrucain has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last six times she's played.

Meanwhile, Fairfield got themselves on the board against Florin on Wednesday, but Florin never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 25-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Vista del Lago's record is now 14-6. As for Fairfield, their record now sits at 18-7.
