Recap: Plainfield Panthers vs. Windham Whippets
It was a good run, but the Plainfield Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The matchup between Plainfield and Windham wasn't particularly close, with Plainfield falling 46-28. Plainfield has struggled against Windham recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Windham found their leader in underclassman Zoee Robins, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Hailey Flores was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Plainfield's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Windham, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Plainfield will challenge Ledyard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ledyard is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Windham, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Griswold at 7:00 p.m.
