Volleyball Game Preview: Bloom Blazing Trojan vs. Marist RedHawks

The Bloom Blazing Trojan will square off against the Marist RedHawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bloom is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Simeon.

Meanwhile, Marist had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Marist was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.

Bloom's victory bumped their record up to 9-23. As for Marist, their win bumped their record up to 29-5.

Bloom came up short against Marist in their previous matchup back in October of 2017, falling 2-0. Can the Blazing Trojan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
