Volleyball Recap: San Pasqual Valley Comes Up Short

If San Pasqual Valley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bagdad last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Somerton Toros on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

San Pasqual Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Somerton, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. San Pasqual Valley will challenge Antelope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerton, they will head out to square off against Tonopah Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
