Pomeroy piles up the points against Colton

Recap: Pomeroy Pirates vs. Colton Wildcats

The Pomeroy Pirates stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Colton 67-17 on the road. With Pomeroy ahead 36-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Pomeroy was led to victory by Oliver Severs and Kyzer Herres. Severs scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Herres scored 17 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Roberts, who scored ten points.

Pomeroy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Colton, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Pomeroy will be playing at home against DeSales at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in DeSales' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups. As for Colton, they will head out on the road to square off against Garfield-Palouse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
