Softball Recap: Wickliffe Blue Devils vs. Crestwood Red Devils

After flying high against Chagrin Falls on Monday, Wickliffe came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Crestwood Red Devils by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Leigha Blazetic put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits.
