Recap: Manchester Blue Devils vs. Taylor County Vikings
The Manchester Blue Devils's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They secured a 58-54 W over Taylor County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manchester also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Manchester's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Terry, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Terry scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daryus Bryant, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Manchester's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Taylor County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Manchester will square off against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taylor County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
