Dobie pushed their score to 18 the last time they played Shadow Creek, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. Dobie never let Shadow Creek get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The result came thanks to Julian Ricks's shutout, as he gave up just a hit.

On the hitting side, Dobie saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Silva, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Julian Valencia also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory got Dobie back to even at 9-9. As for Shadow Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Dobie has already played their next contest, a 7-4 loss against Pearland on the 25th. As for Shadow Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-9 defeat against Pasadena Memorial on the 25th.
