Riverside came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Greenville Christian Saints. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 13-1 victory back in March.

Riverside pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Greenville Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-3 loss against Humphreys County on the 12th. Greenville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
