Minisink Valley is a perfect 3-0 against Chester since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Hambletonians at 11:00 a.m. Minisink Valley has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Minisink Valley lost 15-5 to Beacon on Wednesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christopher McCauley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Nik Marrero was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Chester put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Tri-Valley. The Hambletonians were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bears. The win continues a trend for the Hambletonians in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Chester's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Minisink Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Minisink Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Chester in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 9-6. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Hambletonians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
