Elyria has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 30. They came up short against the Steele Comets on Wednesday, falling 6-1. Elyria were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Anthony Velazquez, who's now up to three this season.

Elyria's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Steele, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season.
