Steinbrenner found a leader in Lilly Patton as the squad took down Wharton on Thursday. Patton wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her third straight with six or more strikeouts.
