Basketball Recap: Princeton Bulldogs vs. Eastern Wayne Warriors
Princeton lost against Eastern Wayne back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Princeton Bulldogs fell 53-42 to the Eastern Wayne Warriors.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paisley Beddingfield, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 15 points and three steals. Beddingfield has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Meredith Bell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
Eastern Wayne was led to victory by Taleia Claude and Madison Pridgen. Claude went 8 of 20 en route to 16 points and three steals, while Pridgen posted 22 points.
Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Eastern Wayne, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Princeton will venture away from home to face off against Goldsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Goldsboro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. As for Eastern Wayne, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Spring Creek at 6:00 p.m.
