Soccer Recap: Twin Lakes Takes a Loss

Twin Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Benton Central Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Benton Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Twin Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Benton Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Twin Lakes has already played their next game (against Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Benton Central, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Crawfordsville on the 15th.
