Volleyball Recap: Custer County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Custer County lost against Havre back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cowboys fell 3-1 to the Blue Ponies.

Custer County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Carly Wacker paced Custer County's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wacker got some help from Allison Atwood and her 33 assists. Clea Rapson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Havre was led to victory by Tahlyn Olson and Roma Gum. Olson had 14 digs and two aces, while Gum had ten digs.

Custer County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Custer County and Havre will both be playing Broadwater the next time they take the court. The Blue Ponies will head out to face the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cowboys will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
