Soccer Game Preview: Proviso East vs. Glenbard North

Proviso East hasn't had much luck against Glenbard North recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Pirates will welcome the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Proviso East didn't have quite enough to beat Wheeling and fell 2-1. Proviso East have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Ashley Avila, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Glenbard North challenged Wheaton-Warrenville South on Thursday. The Panthers lost 9-0 to the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for Glenbard North in their meetings with Wheaton-Warrenville South: they've now lost eight in a row.

Glenbard North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Proviso East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
