On Friday, Dunbar faced Cardozo in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Dunbar Crimson Tide claimed a resounding 63-10 win over the Cardozo Clerks. The Crimson Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Dunbar found their leader in freshman Laila Perry-Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Perry-Jackson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamia Taylor, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Dunbar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Dunbar's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-11. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.7 points per game. As for Cardozo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Dunbar will take on Eastern at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Dunbar surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cardozo, they will face off against Bell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
