Baseball Recap: Breathitt County Bobcats vs. Jackson City Tigers

Breathitt County put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past the Jackson City Tigers 12-1. The win was some much needed relief for Breathitt County as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Miles Hollon was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Tincher, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

On Jackson City's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Morgan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Breathitt County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-15. As for Jackson City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Breathitt County will head out on the road to take on Wolfe County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wolfe County is coming into the contest with eight straight wins at home, so Breathitt County will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Jackson City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
